Your Contribution To Prysmian's Success We are looking for a Construction Engineer to join Installation Department in Milan HQ. Key Duties & Responsibilities Act as focal point with Customer and third parties for supervising pre-lay activities related to the power cable system. Availability to spend long periods abroad on site (approx. 60-70% per year). Interface between Customer, Civil works contractors, and Cable laying subcontractors for planning activities, checking civil works execution, and infrastructure. Supervise laying operations performed by subcontractors. Maintain a record diary of on-site activities, managing subcontractor execution per the plan and contract requirements. Supervise backfilling operations by third-party companies regarding timing, quality, and cable protection. Oversee site supervision, including personnel, assets, technical aspects, logistics, and HSE management. Enforce site safety rules to minimize work-related accidents and injuries. Ensure compliance with internal rules and procedures throughout the process. Support preparation of method statements and other necessary documentation for on-site work in cooperation with and under the supervision of Installation Engineering. You Are The Right Fit If You Have/are Fluent in English and Italian. Degree in Engineering. Up to 2 years of experience in a construction site context. Availability to spend long periods abroad on site (approx. 60-70% per year). Driving license. Good communication skills and relationship approach with Clients and subcontractors. Analytical and problem-solving skills, target orientation, with attitude to manage properly priorities in coordination with Management. Attitude to fast learning and self-commitment. Strong teamwork skills, results oriented and ambitious mindset.
