Associate Director, Project Management Exeter, EX1 Permanent | Full-time | Hybrid working About this opportunity We're searching for a project manager with experience delivering major healthcare schemes to join our growing Exeter office as healthcare project management lead. An extremely successful addition to our South West region, our Exeter office has seen excellent growth in the last year through high standard of service delivery and high profile contracts awarded. As a result, we're searching for a Associate Director to join the team and lead key healthcare schemes in the region. You will play a key role in the delivery of major healthcare programmes, providing expert advice and managing colleagues, consultants and contractors throughout project lifecycle. Reporting into our South West regional healthcare lead, you will support on healthcare bids, and have a role in growing our healthcare capabilities & network in the region. Positively engaging with customers and developing, growing and maintaining customer relationships Delivering high quality services and deliverables ensuring that services meet our Customer’s requirements. Managing teams to deliver high quality services and deliverables in accordance with the business procedures Administering contracts as a contract administrator, employer’s agent or project manager. Producing and presenting to customers Mentoring and coaching employees so that they realise their full potential Preparing bids for services. Managing service delivery for profit. Advising directors promptly of any issues that have arisen, or may arise, on projects; in particular those that might impact on Gleeds professional indemnity (PI) insurance. Detailed knowledge and practiced experience of project management techniques Sound knowledge of the industry (including factors affecting it) and construction methods and materials Comprehensive knowledge of construction procurement strategies, including tendering and contract strategies Clear understanding of legislation impacting on building contracts. Experience acting as contract administrator on NEC contracts Ability to motivate others (including providing support and encouragement) and to lead high performance teams. Excellent communication skills - both oral and written. Ability to absorb complex information and assess requirements readily. Excellent problem solving, negotiating, financial and numeracy skills Sound ICT skills, with a high proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Ability to work as part of a team and manage teams.
