Commissioning Manager – Pentagon Technical Services Immediate start Must have a Visa or right to work in Italy Role Summary The Mechanical Commissioning Manager is responsible for planning, managing, and delivering the mechanical commissioning activities for mission‑critical data centre projects. All mechanical systems are installed, tested, commissioned, and handed over in full compliance with design intent, client requirements, safety standards, and industry best practices. The role requires strong leadership, deep technical knowledge of data centre mechanical systems, and proven experience delivering complex, high‑availability environments. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage the mechanical commissioning strategy, plans, schedules, and procedures for data centre projects. Lead and coordinate all mechanical commissioning activities from pre‑commissioning through IST and final handover. Interface closely with electrical, controls, CSA, and integrated commissioning teams. Ensure commissioning activities align with project milestones and client readiness dates. Technical Oversight Oversee commissioning of mechanical systems including: Chilled water systems (air‑cooled & water‑cooled) CRAH / CRAC units Cooling towers & heat rejection systems Pumps, valves, and pipework AHUs and ventilation systems BMS / EPMS interfaces Review and Approve Method statements Test scripts and procedures Commissioning results and reports Validate that systems meet design intent, redundancy (N, N+1, 2N), and performance requirements.
