The Amazon Global Selling team is responsible for recruiting 3P sellers and helping them grow their business on Amazon, either through their own logistic networks or leveraging Amazon's global fulfillment and customer service network. We place great focus on building a healthy Seller business which determines the future and potential of Amazon's 3P business. Amazon Global Selling Finance is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support the WW Global Selling business. Finance is critical to the success in our mission. We see the entire picture, and are a cornerstone to driving the right investments, maintaining controllership, and distilling down the right stories to push our business forward. The role will support the day‑to‑day financial reporting and planning, annual operating plans and quarterly guidance, weekly business reviews at the input grain, and month‑end close stories. Key Job Responsibilities Use solid financial knowledge and business acumen to build financial models, interpret data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations that deliver results, drive improvements, and influence leaders throughout Amazon. These decisions can have global impact. Educate business partners on financial and non‑financial trade‑offs and provide guidance and financial analysis for new projects and initiatives. You make thoughtful judgement calls in ambiguous environments where data may be scarce or difficult to procure. Identify opportunities to resolve defects proactively. Improve, scale, or simplify finance tools across teams and organizations. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re‑engineering, quality assurance) experience 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience 4+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision‑making experience 4+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence Preferred Qualifications MBA, or CPA Experience working with large‑scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards) 5+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
