Optic system engineer to join its office in Roma within the Electronics and System Engineering Division.MissionThe System Engineer supports the Client in the development of system solutions.Key AccountabilitiesRequirement Management: collaborate with Client’s development team to specify and maintain system requirements, including functional, non-functional, and interface requirements.System Functionality Definition: identify and describe the key functionalities of the system, considering requirements and final user needs.System Configuration Management: manage changes in system requirements and configuration during the development process, ensuring they are evaluated, documented, and implemented appropriately.System Test and Integration: manage system testing and integration (in factory or on field).Document Management: support the writing of project technical documentation and the development of reports/summaries also in the form of presentations.EducationBachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Engineering General.QualificationsIdentification of optics for illumination and recording.Evaluation of brightfield and darkfield settings.Lighting calculations.Design of LED and laser sources.Selection of recording sensors.Technical Knowledge: familiarity with front-edge optic technologies and experience in drafting system requirements and their verification and validation.Knowledge of software modelling tools (e.g., Matlab / Simulink).Use of engineering tools: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), 2D/3D rendering software or CAD and finite element codes.CompetenciesAddress the way – have a big picture of different situations and reinterpret them in a perspective way.Build network – forge trust relationships across departments and outside the organization.Client intimacy – embrace internal and external client needs, expectations, and requirements to ensure maximum satisfaction.Earn trust – take everyone's opinion into account and remain open to diversity.Make effective decisions – structure activities according to priorities, actions, resources and constraints.Manage emotions – recognize one's and other's emotions and express and regulate one's reactions.Pioneer change – actively embrace change and benefit from the new circumstances.Promote sustainable development – promote commitment by keeping promises as a role model.Think forward – capitalize on experiences and translate them into action plans for the future.At RINA, we endeavor to create a work environment where every single person is valued and encouraged to develop new ideas.
