We are looking for a Deputy Civil Engineering Manager to join the Engineering Department and become a part of our Team in Sesto San Giovanni (Milan).Role and responsibilitiesHelp ensure that all engineering activities related to civil discipline are executed timely, efficiently and cost-effectively in accordance with contract specification, quality standards and safety requirementsDevelop alternative technical solutions guaranteeing high quality standards and profitability increasePromote effective collaboration, synergistic integration and efficient learning environmentMaintain and develop the specific know‑how pertaining to the disciplineHelp define and monitor the organization and the resources needed to develop the projects as requiredHelp Management define the needs of training for the internal people and the investments necessary to empower and develop people’s skillsSupport Civil Chief Engineers in reviewing engineering progress and in ensuring high engineering qualityHelp Management check and review Civil Discipline KPISupport Proposal Department during bid phase, defining technical solutionsSupport Chief Engineers during work requisitions preparation (quantity, scope of work, work description etc.) and technical evaluationAssist Management in providing proper coordination with other engineering disciplines both on projects & proposal and when standard methodologies are developedCore competenciesCivil Engineering backgroundKnowledge of major international Civil and Structural CodesStructural calculation knowledgeExperience in Civil Engineering leading in large EPC/Energy projectsFluent written and spoken EnglishMinimum 10‑15 years experience in Civil Engineering for large EPC/Energy projectsBachelor/Master Degree in Civil EngineeringOther skillsLeadership and Team ManagementProblem SolvingTeamwork AbilityCommunication SkillsTime ManagementListening and Providing FeedbackThe research is aimed at candidates of both sexes (Legislative Decree 198/2006).We honor our commitments under articles 1 and 18 of Law No. 68/1999 and give special consideration to candidates in protected categories.Seniority levelMid‑Senior levelEmployment typeFull‑timeJob functionOil and Gas#J-18808-Ljbffr
