Currently, our state-of-the-art equipment is powering seven different systems in space, including satellites orbiting Earth, spacecraft and orbiters for deep space missions, and the International Space Station. Our top products include:- Imaging Systems;- Payload Electronics;- Spacecraft and Aerospace Platform Avionics;- Ground Segment equipment.Key Tasks- Design of electronic boards and systems based on FPGA architecture- Analysis and Design review by using analog and digital simulators- Design and development of VHDL code- Preparation and execution of validation tests in the different project phases (laboratory test on breadboard (if any), at board level and system level following the integration)- Interaction with the project team and preparation of inputs in particular for the PCB (Printed Circuit Board) and SW designers- Preparation of technical project documentationKey Skills- Experience in the design and development of electronic boards based on FPGA and Microprocessors- Experience in the design and development of VHDL code for XILINX and Microsemi FPGAs- Knowledge of Electronic & PCB Design tools, such as Mentor Graphics PADS, Cadence Allegro, Altium- Knowledge of instrumentation for laboratory testing Problem solving skills- Candidates must be able to work with other engineers in project teams and under pressure (tight schedules, fixed date deliveries)- Knowledge on design methodologies for space applications (design documentation, design analysis, etc.) and ECSS standards is a plusQualification- Master’s Degree in Electronic Engineering - a PhD is a plus- Good knowledge of the English languageWhat we offerAt TSD, we are committed to providing our employees with a competitive salary that exceeds the national average and the average in many major cities, such as Milan - the northern economic capital of Italy.
