Commercial & Claims Performance Steering OfficeThe Commercial & Claims Performance Steering office was established in 2024 with the mission of designing a new management control model for Allianz P / C commercial business and claims. The team leverages diverse experiences gained across various areas of the company consistently characterized by analytical data analysis activities to drive innovation and excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport data ingestion transformation cleaning and exploration proceduresImplement and enhance dashboards and business intelligence tools to support portfolio steeringConduct in-depth analysis of performance figures exploring business phenomena in both underwriting and claimsSummarize design and present results effectively to various stakeholdersEducation / Experience / Key SkillsMasters Degree in quantitative subjects (e.g. Actuarial Sciences Economics Engineering Mathematics Physics Statistics)3-5 years of experience in similar roles / topicsPrevious experience in the insurance industry would be advantageousStrong mathematical and statistical knowledge with the ability to solve complex analytical problemsProficiency in programming with high-level and scripting languages (Python R Power BI etc.)Experience in handling and analyzing large data sets including database technologiesExcellent communication and presentation skillsSelf-motivated and committed working stylePositive curiosity to understand the drivers behind the numbersAccuracy and attention to detailsStrong team playerFluent in Italian and English both written and spokenLocationMilan / TriesteEqual OpportunityWe therefore welcome applications regardless of ethnicity or cultural background age gender nationality religion social class disability or sexual orientation or any other characteristics protected under applicable local laws and regulations.
