Offer Description

Production of a description of extreme rainfall probability that is informed by physics and is therefore explainable, physically consistent and more reliable; Analytical derivation of limit statistical distributions for extreme precipitation induced by different atmospheric processes


The assignment will be awarded based on the evaluation of expressions of interest received by the Research
Supervisor Francesco Marra according to the criteria indicated below:



  • for qualifications (max 20): degree, PhD, specialization diploma, certificates of attendance of post-graduate
    specialisation courses (obtained in Italy or abroad);
  • for the scientific-professional curriculum (max 40): documented research activity carried out at public and
    private entities with contracts, scholarships or assignments (both in Italy and abroad) relevant xysqume to the research
    activity subject of the announcement;
  • for scientific productivity (max 40): quantity and quality of scientific publications, including masters or singlecycle master's or doctoral theses;
