Key Responsibilities Prepare the operating room by assembling surgical instruments, equipment, and necessary supplies. Assistin the positioning of patients and ensuring their safety during surgical procedures. Maintain a sterile field and ensure compliance with established infection control standards. Pass instruments and supplies to the surgeon and surgical team during operations. Monitor the patient’s condition and alert the surgical team to any changes during procedures. Clean and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment according to established protocols. Assistwith post-operative care, including transferring patients to recovery areas and ensuring a smooth transition. Document surgical procedures andmaintainaccuraterecords of all supplies used. Maintains safe and clean working environment bycomplying withprocedures, rules, and regulations. Activelyparticipatesin Mass Casualty exercises and events. Completes required organizational compliance education, including assigned requirements that are client-specified, for Joint Commission Healthcare Staffing Services certification or other regulatory bodies. Qualifications Basic Requirements/Certifications: The CST certification offered by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)orcountry of record equivalent. CurrentBasic Life Support (BLS)Certificationorequivalency. Minimum of 3-5 years recent experience as a Surgical Technicianincluding at least six months out of the past year. Proficiencywith Microsoft Office applications and Electronic Medical Records (EMR). Experience on a military site working as a government subcontractor or prime contractor is preferred. Education Required: Graduate from an accredited surgical technician program,have the military equivalent training course with Certificate of Completion (i.e. 68D, HM8483, 4N1x1)orcountry of record equivalent. MedicalTechnology,relatedfieldorapproved equivalent. Physical Requirements: Must meet pre-deployment physical requirements. Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time. May require bending,stoopingand lifting to 30 lbs. Other Special Qualifications: Valid Passportfrom country of recordwith at least18months beforeexpirationdate. Mustmaintaina current passport during your stay inIsrael. Ability to obtain andmaintainarequired security clearance. Applicants with current clearances are preferred. Must be able torelocatetoIsraelfor the duration of the project. Must be able to read,writeand speak English to effectively communicate. Additional Information Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data.
