This position in the Industrial / Manufacturing sector offers you the opportunity to lead strategic projects and optimize business processes.Several strategic SAP transformation projects are ongoing or planned, including deployment of AI.Global leader in the production of industrial equipment.ResponsibilitiesRequirement Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, identifying opportunities for process optimization across SAP SD and FI modules.Solution Design: Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications for the configuration and customizations of SAP solutions.Configuration: Configure and customize SAP FI and SD modules—including sales orders processing, deliveries (transportation, handling and costs), billing (SD), and financial accounting, controlling and reporting (SD‑FI).Implementation: Lead the implementation solutions, managing project timelines and ensuring successful deployment.Testing: Develop and execute test plans and scripts to ensure the solution meets functional and business requirements.Integration: Ensure seamless integration of FI and SD modules with other SAP components such as MM (Material Management), TMS (Transportation Management System), and other business applications.Support & Troubleshooting: Provide ongoing functional and technical support to users and resolve issues within the SAP system.Training & Documentation: Map, develop and deliver end‑user training and create comprehensive documentation for configurations, processes, and support procedures.Process Improvement: Analyze and improve existing financial processes within SAP, identify areas for AI automation, and recommend practices.Qualifications5–7 years of relevant experience, preferably in an international industrial group.International exposure and experience with cross‑border collaboration.Team collaboration skills; can‑do attitude and hands‑on approach with high energy and initiative.Ability to manage upwards and proactive attitude.Willingness for 10% domestic and international business travel.Degree in Computer Science or Business Administration or equivalent.Relevant IT certifications with strong functional knowledge of SAP S/4HANA (Private or Public Cloud).Solid expertise in either SAP FI/CO (including Chart of Accounts) or SAP SD, with exposure to SAP BW and SAP Analytics Cloud.Business‑fluent English and Italian are requested; additional language skills are a plus.Role structureReporting to Group IT Applications Manager.Responsibility to manage internal and external project teams of implementation partners.LocationMilan with domestic and international business travel (10% of time).Seniority levelMid‑Senior level.Employment typeFull‑time.Job functionInformation Technology.IndustriesManufacturing.Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Michael Page by 2x.Get notified about new SAP Business Analyst jobs in Milan, Lombardy, Italy.#J-18808-Ljbffr
