Cloud Data Engineer Join to apply for the Cloud Data Engineer role at BIP. Responsibilities Operate Data Platforms (Big Data, hybrid, on‑premises or cloud), implementing batch or real‑time processing pipelines, transformation and processing of structured and unstructured data. Be responsible for acquisition, historization, cleansing, anonymization/crypting/masking, handling nulls and outliers, aggregation, structuring of unstructured data, creation of KPI quality metrics, data preparation for various users. Receive Machine Learning models from Data Scientists, optimize for scale (parallelization), integrate and schedule for efficient automated execution. Work with technology choices, preferring cloud native, scalable architectures. Act as an evolving expert to select the best technologies for complex pipelines, maximizing reusability, quality, efficiency, performance, documentation and order. Provide advisory to select engineering technologies within emerging Big Data architectures or to improve existing ecosystems with performance, quality and reuse issues. Demonstrate and evolve customer‑relationship skills, ensuring best solutions align with client requirements. Contribute to community with research, scouting, concept development and business development. Qualifications Experience in implementing and managing cloud‑based data platforms. Knowledge of one or more cloud platforms (Google GCP, Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure) and supporting data management, processing and analytics services. Knowledge of modern data‑platform concepts (Big Data, Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Data Virtualization, Data Mesh, Data Governance, etc.). Experience designing data models and building/maintaining ETL pipelines. Knowledge of programming/query languages (SQL, Java, Ruby, Python, R, etc.). Deep understanding of technologies for structured/unstructured database management (BigQuery, MongoDB, Hadoop, Redis, etc.). Plus Google Professional Data Engineer certification. Data Engineering on Microsoft Azure qualification. AWS Certified Big Data – Specialty.
