You lead a team responsible for Work Preparation and Toolmaking. Together, you plan and manage projects within the in-house tool shop, ranging from the development of new injection molds to the repair and maintenance of tools used in serial production.
- Lead, motivate, and develop the team
- Take responsibility for the planning, coordination, and successful execution of projects and orders while meeting quality, cost, and delivery targets
- Drive process improvements, organizational efficiency, and cross-functional collaboration
- Manage internal toolmaking projects from quotation preparation and work planning through to successful completion
- Coordinate closely with the Machining Production Team Leader to ensure the smooth execution of projects and orders
Qualifications
- Technical education in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable field
- Several years of experience in project management and a technical environment, ideally in mechanical engineering and/or toolmaking
- Design experience with Cimatron is an advantage
- Experience in the manufacturing of injection-molded and stamped components
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as milling, grinding, EDM (electrical discharge machining), and drilling
- Very good German and English language skills
- Strong leadership and communication skills, combined with a structured and solution-oriented working style
- Team player with excellent organizational skills and a strong sense of responsibility and ownership
