Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a multidisciplinary engineering team, including mechanical designers, mechanical engineers, and automation specialists, providing technical guidance, coaching, and clear project priorities.
- Take full ownership of automation and robotics projects, managing the complete lifecycle from concept and design through implementation, commissioning, and validation.
- Drive the development of new automated equipment and continuously improve existing manufacturing processes and production lines.
- Maintain a strong presence on the shop floor, working closely with production teams to identify opportunities, solve technical challenges, and ensure successful project execution.
- Champion Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, safety, and operational performance.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with quality and performance expectations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Operations to develop and implement innovative technical solutions that meet business and plant objectives.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and engineering excellence while supporting the professional growth of your team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
- 6–7 years of experience in industrial automation, robotics, or manufacturing engineering, including experience leading automation projects in an industrial environment.
- Previous experience managing technical teams or coordinating multidisciplinary engineering projects.
- Strong knowledge of industrial machinery design, automation systems, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with mechanical design software (preferably Creo), CAD systems, and Product Data Management (PDM) tools.
- Solid understanding of PLC-controlled automation systems and industrial automation logic.
- Experience designing, developing, and integrating automated manufacturing equipment.
- Proven knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, results-driven mindset.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple functions.
- Professional proficiency in both Italian and English, written and spoken.

Weekly Hours: 38.5 weekly hours for white collars and non-shift blue collars; 38 weekly hours for shift blue collars.
Fascia retributive: Tra € e € 75.600 lordi annui. La retribuzione specifica offerta terrà conto dell'istruzione, delle qualifiche, dell'esperienza e delle competenze del candidato.
The pay range for this position : Between € 50.400 and € 75.600 gross per annum. The specific pay offered will consider the candidate’s education, qualifications, experience and skill set.
Eleggibilità per il Piano Bonus: Eligibilità al piano bonus Variabile-AIP, che prevede un incentivo target del 10% della retribuzione base annua, a seconda del raggiungimento dei parametri di business e delle performance individuali.
