Partner with the best As a Senior Project Engineer you will lead the execution of projects with medium‑high technical complexity and intensity within all GTE market segments (Downstream, Industrial, Pipeline, Power Generation). Packages are driven by electric motor (centrifugal or reciprocating compressor), Steam Turbines, and Gas Turbines for mechanical drive and power generation applications. You will be the coordinator of the whole Engineering project team and the contact point for customers and company stakeholders. You will supervise quality and timeliness of projects, establishing a solid connection with Project Management, Supply Chain and Engineering execution team. Responsibilities Managing Customer technical interfaces and related communication Reviewing and assessing information received from ITO needed to start the job Ensuring proper understanding of technical Customer needs inside the Baker Hughes IET Engineering organization Managing bill of material for the assigned project to be in accordance with contractual requirement and internal procedures Identifying customer's requirement indicated in contractual technical specifications and assuring correct CTQ flow‑down, integrated with product line standards throughout the DR process Attending quality meetings with customer and third parties involved, supporting the Project Quality manager to review project quality control plan (QCP/ITP) Reviewing Test specifications, attending machinery tests with suppliers and/or client, supporting different Company Functions involved in the assigned job and leading VDR completeness after material shipping, productivity and leakage review Fuel your passion – What to bring Master’s Degree in Engineering discipline (Mechanical/Aeronautic or Chemical) 5 years significant experience in a multidisciplinary assignment, in Oil & Gas environment as System Engineer, Lead Design Engineer Experience in machinery design (preferred Steam Turbine/Gas‑Expander/Centrifugal Compressor, Reciprocating) Solid knowledge of plant philosophy and main components for steam turbine power generation, Petrochemical plant, Refinery Solid team management and project fulfilment execution experience Able to work in a matrix organization and willing and able to travel Work in a way that works for you Working flexible hours – flexing the times you work during the day to fit everything in and work when you are most productive Working with us Our people are at the heart of what we do at Baker Hughes.
