OverviewElectrical Engineer/Technician role at Arup in Milan. ResponsibilitiesContribute to a diverse portfolio of projects across Italy and beyond Be responsible for the design and delivery of electrical services (MV, LV and extra-LV), collaborating with experienced engineers and multidisciplinary teams. Develop technical analysis, calculations (energy balances and power distribution systems), computations, specifications, modelling, and reporting. Design renewable energy systems. Be accountable for delivering high quality work in the form of drawings, reports, standard documentation, presentations, authority submissions, etc., within the agreed timeframes. Participate in site visits, client meetings, design reviews and project workshops, gaining valuable industry exposure. Cooperate closely with our international offices. Requirements / QualificationsDegree from an Engineering University (Building/ Electrical/ Energy/ other relevant) or a relevant technical Diploma. 3 to 5 years of professional experience in the design and delivery of electrical installations (MV, LV and extra-LV). Knowledge of sustainability principles. Good planning and organisation skills. Fluent written and spoken English and Italian. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Good knowledge of CAD and/or Building Information Modelling. Knowledge of Italian codes and planning phases. Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills with an eagerness to learn and apply new concepts. Availability to travel within the region (Europe).
