Together, our teams deliver high‑quality, modern veterinary care for companion animals, ensuring peace of mind for pet owners through excellent access and patient safety.Role OverviewThe Health & Safety Advisor – Med and CEE OU is responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and leading the delivery of social work and well‑being support across veterinary clinics and hospitals. The role safeguards associate physical and psychological well‑being through proactive regulatory compliance, health risk management, and mental health crisis response.Key ResponsibilitiesAdvise and support management and teams in the implementation of Health & Safety regulations and best practices.Monitor compliance with Health & Safety legislation and internal guidelines.Conduct risk assessments, audits, and workplace inspections.Initiate and support Health & Safety training and awareness campaigns.Investigate accidents and incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.Maintain and update Health & Safety documentation and reporting systems.Act as the point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on health and safety matters.Promote a proactive safety culture within the organization.Context and ScopeAs a Health & Safety Advisor, you provide professional advice and support in the area of working conditions (health and safety) to the organization, promoting a safe and healthy working environment and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and internal standards. You work closely with managers, prevention officers, and Associates to implement and improve policies and procedures, supporting all levels of Associates—from clinical team members to hospital leaders.Qualifications & Experience5+ years’ experience in HSE, occupational health, social work, or employee well‑being (preferably in healthcare or multisite environments).Strong knowledge of local/EU safety regulations, risk management, and HSE compliance.Experience in crisis response, trauma‑informed practice, and supporting well‑being in complex environments.Proven ability to design and deliver compliance training and well‑being campaigns.Familiarity with HSE tools and systems is a plus.Proven experience in a health and safety advisory role.Strong understanding of workplace risk assessment and hazard control.Ability to interpret and apply legal standards in a pragmatic manner.Excellent communication and influencing skills.Experience with incident investigation and root cause analysis.Capability of delivering training sessions and creating awareness materials.Seniority levelMid‑Senior levelEmployment typeFull‑timeJob functionManagement and ManufacturingIndustriesVeterinary Services#J-18808-Ljbffr
