We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Road/Highway Engineer to join our growing Infrastructure team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects ranging from feasibility studies to detailed design, construction support, and project management across both domestic and international markets.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and deliver road/highway or linear infrastructure engineering projects from concept through to completion.Oversee feasibility studies, schemes, and detailed designs, assessments, and construction supervision.Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers.Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and interface with clients at local, national, and international levels.Support health and safety compliance and construction site supervision.Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.Manage technical and administrative content for bids and proposals of major infrastructure programs in Italy and abroad.Recent or Current Project ExperienceDesign of national or international road/highway and major linear infrastructure projects.Design of new road alignments, junction improvements, and urban mobility enhancements.Rehabilitation and adequacy assessments of existing road infrastructure.Civil works within broader infrastructure, civil or environmental projects.AECOM is the world’s trusted infrastructure consulting firm, delivering professional services throughout the project lifecycle – from advisory, planning, design and engineering to program and construction management.
