Business Development Manager, Geotechnical and Structural Health Monitoring, Europe Ackcio•Ferrara, Emilia-Romagna, ITALY The Company Ackcio ( builds end to end wireless monitoring solutions for Geotechnical Instrumentation and Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) applications. We provide the full stack from field sensors, dataloggers, and data visualization platforms. Our solutions enable engineers and project owners to monitor ground movement, structural behavior, and environmental conditions in real time, replacing manual inspections with automated and data driven workflows. Our technology is deployed across construction, infrastructure, mining, rail, and environmental monitoring projects. Today Ackcio supports clients in more than 55 countries, helping them improve safety, productivity, and decision making through reliable remote monitoring. Ackcio was founded in Singapore in 2016 and operates globally with teams across Asia, Europe, and the Americas. Location You will work remotely from your location within Europe. Up to 10% business travel with occasional project site visits can be expected. Role Summary We are looking for our new colleague in Business Development Manager role to grow Ackcio presence in Europe. Your primary responsibility will be new business development by identifying, developing, and acquiring new customer accounts. We expect that you bring industry experience in geotechnical and SHM from a technical sales and management role. You will independently generate new leads, build a pipeline, lead client discussions, propose monitoring solutions, and close new deals. Support from Ackcio engineering and product teams will be available when deeper technical input is required. Key Responsibilities Identify and qualify new customers in geotechnical and SHM markets. Develop and execute a sales plan to achieve revenue targets. Conduct technical discovery to understand client monitoring needs. Propose appropriate monitoring solutions using Ackcio products. Prepare commercial proposals and negotiate deals. Close new accounts and manage early stage customer relationships. Build and maintain market intelligence on competitors and industry trends. Collaborate with HQ teams on solution design and technical support when required. Requirements Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field. Minimum five years experience in technical sales or project based business within geotechnical, civil, or structural monitoring sectors. Hands on experience with geotechnical instrumentation or sensor based monitoring systems. Proven ability to generate and close new accounts independently. Strong technical communication and solution selling skills. Comfortable working autonomously with minimal supervision. Fluent in English and one other major European language (German, French, Italian, or Spanish). What We Offer Opportunity to grow in your role as you build Ackcio's market presence in your territory.
