Manufacturability Engineer

Manufacturability Engineer Partner with the best As a Manufacturability Engineer Inter you will learn and contribute to assure Manufacturability of all the critical components of our turbomachineries, in accordance with program schedule as well as costs, quality, reliability, and performance requirements, covering a bridging role between Engineering and Supply Chain functions.You will look at the product from a systemic perspective taking care of influencing design decisions considering all the producibility aspects and cost competitiveness.You will support the new technology transition towards the supply chain, and you will lead the industrialization of newly launched products.AsaManufacturability Engineer you will be responsible for:Supporting the Innovation Engineering and Product Development teams in translating new product requirements into producible features, choosing existent technologies or support new technology introduction, either for raw materials or for machining & welding activities.Supporting in assessing Supply Chain capabilities, helping the team to make technical choices and investment planEvaluating preliminary designs and recommending modifications based on cost constrains, knowledge of main conventional and unconventional manufacturing technology processes and their relatedcapabilitiesLeveraging on the technology experts to define the preliminary manufacturing process sequence and assessing the associated costSupporting the execution of all the laboratory operations on prototypes and/or mockups needed for product, system, sub-system and componentvalidationsSupporting all Cost Out Initiatives (from Manufacturability standpoint) impacting industrialization of all new productsFuel your passion To be successful in this role you will need to have:Bachelor'sdegree from anaccredited University in Mechanical Engineering, Management or Industrial Engineering, Chemical or Environmental Engineering or in Science, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics,Professional proficiency inEnglishand Italian and proven working experience in a global environmentProblem-solving attitude to identify complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutionsGood interpersonal capabilities, empathy, influencing abilities and good presentation and decision-making skillsStrong positive attitude, teamwork capabilities, ambition and passion for performanceEU Work PermitWork in a way that works for you We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
