The restaurant is seeking passionate, enthusiastic, dynamic, and proactive aspiring chefs worldwide who want to gain a once-in-a-lifetime professional and cultural experience in the United States. Responsibilities: Perform various food preparations, cooking, and cleaning tasks to ensure efficient kitchen operations. Complete all tasks on the prep list from the Executive Chef or Executive Sous Chef. Prepare food items daily in their assigned outlet and other kitchen areas. Provide clean and sanitized dishes to the dining room and kitchen stations, operating dishwashing equipment as needed. Assist kitchen staff in producing menu items to ensure high performance, guest satisfaction, and profitability. Estimated Monthly Budget: Projected monthly income: $2,400 (Hourly wage: $15) Projected housing costs: $600/month Meals provided during working hours J1 Visa Program: This traineeship is part of the J1 visa program for young professionals or recent graduates seeking to gain work experience and cultural exchange. The total application fee is $1,870, broken down as follows: $420 due upon signing the contract (non-refundable) $1,450 due upon visa approval (includes $650 for mandatory health insurance) Disclaimer: The first month of housing must be paid in advance by the candidate.
