You will work closely with cross‑functional teams, including product managers, UX/UI designers, and software developers, to deliver high‑quality solutions to our customers. The ideal candidate has a strong background in software development and a passion for building scalable, maintainable, and efficient applications.Key AccountabilitiesSoftware Development: Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure software applications; write clean, maintainable, and efficient code; collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical implementation plans.Testing and Deployment: Write automated tests to ensure quality; debug implemented software; support the V&V team during testing and validation activities; analyze and solve detected problems with necessary corrections.Documentation: Document software requirements, design decisions, APIs, and implementation details; maintain technical documentation and diagrams related to software applications.Support and Maintenance: Provide technical support to customers and internal teams; debug and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends; identify and propose improvements to existing software applications and development processes; participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and retrospectives.Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality software applications; communicate technical concepts and ideas clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.EducationBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information SystemsQualificationsGood experience as a Software Engineer or Software Application Engineer, with a track record of delivering high‑quality software applications.Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as C/C++, Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.Experience with desktop application development frameworks (e.g., MS Visual Studio, VS Code, Eclipse) and/or web application development frameworks (Spring, Django, React, Angular).Familiarity with Graphic User Interfaces design and related development frameworks (e.g., Qt, NI LabWindows/ LabView).Knowledge of requirements management and design tools (e.g., UML‑based tools).Familiarity with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL databases).Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).Understanding of software engineering life cycle and development best practices, including Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems (e.g., Git).CompetenciesHave a big picture of different situations and reinterpret it in a perspective way.Embrace internal and external client needs, expectations, and requirements to ensure maximum satisfaction.Forge trust relationships across departments and outside the organization.Take everyone's opinion into account and remain open to diversity.Structure activities according to priorities, actions, resources, and constraints.Recognise one's and other's emotions and express and regulate one's reactions.Actively embrace change and benefit from new circumstances.Promote commitment by keeping promises as a role model.Capacitate on experiences and translate them into action plans for the future.RINA is a multinational company providing a wide range of services in the energy, marine, certification, infrastructure & mobility, industry, research & development sectors.
