Government Accountant

CeLeen is seeking a Government Accountant – SME for a contract within the Department of Defense (DoD) at USTRANSCOM in support of Business Process Reengineering (BPR) for the Joint Transportation Management System (JTMS). Duties and Responsibilities Consult with Directors and Senior Managers on strategic analysis and organizational engineering, resource management, cost and economic analysis, and information systems development and integration. Develop, lead, and conduct workshops, benchmarking, and surveys. Facilitate process improvement efforts. Manage a team of consultants and analysts. Generate papers and documents. Assist in developing, analyzing, and promoting the customer’s needs and issues, including the responsiveness of required deliverables. Expected salary range: $151,000 – $170,000 This is a temporary position ending on or about February 28, 2026 with the possibility of extension. Work Environment Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone, and printers) and/or occasional loud noise (airfield, large equipment). Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. Physical Demands While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to sit, stand, talk, and hear. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, or related field. Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance. (Eligible to pass Federal security clearance process. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications. Outstanding communication skills, influencing abilities, and client focus. Professional proficiency in English is required. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis.
