You still may be a great fit for this role or other open roles.Skills and competencies reflect a strong commercial acumen and a focus on driving revenue growth and customer success within an existing base.ResponsibilitiesDrive add-on sales and increase net retention across the NewsEdge customer base through proactive outreach and ongoing engagement.Strengthen account relationships by engaging users and key stakeholders to maximize customer satisfaction, loyalty, and product value.Identify and pursue white space opportunities within assigned accounts to generate incremental revenue, leveraging market insights and customer data.Develop, maintain, and enhance comprehensive account plans in partnership with Relationship Managers to coordinate account growth and customer success.Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including marketing, sales, operations, support, and finance—to deliver a seamless customer experience and align touchpoints.Provide actionable feedback to Product Management regarding product performance, customer needs, and market trends for enhancements and roadmap considerations.Act as an ambassador for the company, modeling its culture and values in interactions with customers, colleagues, and partners.Operate through the full sales cycle, including existing product sales, new product introductions, technical sales support, and onboarding activities for new customers and products.Travel up to 50% to engage with clients face-to-face, with hybrid working where applicable.QualificationsStrong commercial acumen with demonstrated ability to drive add-on sales and maximize net retention within an existing customer base.Skilled in identifying, assessing, and targeting white space opportunities to generate incremental revenue, using data and customer insights to prioritize high-potential areas.Proficient in developing and executing tailored account plans in collaboration with Relationship Managers, aligning strategies with customer needs and broader business objectives.Effective and confident communicator, capable of managing objections, articulating value propositions clearly, and delivering introductory online demonstrations to prospects and existing clients.Creative and analytical problem solver with the ability to diagnose issues, evaluate root causes, and design innovative solutions that support customer success and product adoption.Highly organized and adaptable, able to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy and attention to detail.Self-motivated and performance driven, with a proactive approach to achieving sales goals and continuous improvement.Proficient in CRM systems, MS Office, and key digital tools to track activities and improve sales effectiveness.Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts with curiosity about how AI tools can improve processes and drive efficiency.Interest in responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use.About the TeamJoin a collaborative, high-performing Moody’s team committed to customer success and long-term growth.
