We are recruiting for a field-based sales professional specializing in complex, engineered solutions for sustained power, heating & cooling needs across the data centres sector to cover the south region in Italy (Roma-Bari).Responsibilities Drive significant revenue growth through consultative selling of complex technical solutions to data centre customers.Responsible for deep technical discovery, collaborative solution development, and building multi-level stakeholder relationships over extended sales cycles (6-36 months).Manage intricate proposals and contracts while maintaining accurate long-range pipeline forecasts in this highly technical and mission-critical industry.Anticipate data centre infrastructure needs years ahead and position solutions within strategic expansion plansCreate tailored solutions balancing reliability, efficiency, and sustainability requirements for critical operationsEngage as trusted advisor rather than vendor, establishing genuine thought leadership with technical teamsManage complex bids and contract negotiations through to successful closure for high-value projectsDevelop compelling business cases demonstrating operational and financial benefits through sophisticated ROI analysisCoordinate solutions across international locations with diverse regulatory and operational requirementsLocation : Roma with requirement to intensive travel.What we’re looking for Proven track record in exceeding targets and managing complex B2B technical solution salesMore than 3 years experience in managing extended sales cycles (6+ months) with multiple stakeholders across decision levelsSuccess building C-suite and technical decision-maker relationships in technology environmentsBackground in data centres, critical infrastructure i.e UPS and knowledge of data centre power, cooling, and backup systems with tier classifications preferableDemonstrated ability to align technical solutions with clients\' long-term strategic roadmapsBenefits A competitive fixed salaryCommission scheme uncappedPosition eligible for a company carInsurance : life, lost injury and Health insuranceMeal vouchers : €8 per dayEmployee Assistance ProgrammeWhy join Aggreko?
