As part of the growth journey we are searching for a Network Engineer Tester with a strong background in software testing, networking, and database performance evaluation. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of computer science, networking protocols, and extensive experience in testing software in a Windows Application environment. You will be responsible for performing rigorous tests to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our products, with a special focus on MSSQL databases and network-related testing.

Responsibilities:

• Design and execute test plans for software applications, focusing on performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Conduct in-depth network testing and troubleshooting using tools such as Wireshark, Ixia, Spirent, Cisco Packet Tracer, etc.
• Perform thorough testing on MSSQL databases, ensuring their performance and scalability.
• Utilize load testing and database benchmarking tools (e.g., JMeter, SQLQueryStress, HammerDB) to assess system performance.
• Develop and maintain test cases using test case management tools like Azure DevOps, JIRA, or similar.
• Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve defects.
• Apply strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills to identify the root causes of issues.
• Participate in stress testing and contribute to the improvement of system resilience.
• Communicate test results, findings, and risks clearly and effectively to all stakeholders.
• Contribute to improving testing methodologies and processes within the team.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in software testing, particularly in a Windows Application environment.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, Firewalls, QoS, VLANs.
• Experience with network testing and troubleshooting tools (e.g., Wireshark, Ixia, Spirent, Cisco Packet Tracer).
• Expertise in testing the performance, scalability, and reliability of MSSQL databases.
• Experience with load testing and database benchmarking tools (e.g., JMeter, SQLQueryStress, HammerDB).
• Proficient in using test case management tools like Azure DevOps, JIRA, or similar.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, stress-testing environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
