Job Overview We're looking for a DevOps Engineer with solid experience in deploying and managing Java/Spring Boot web applications to join our team in Lugano. This role is perfect for someone passionate about automation' continuous delivery' and reliable deployments. What you'll do: - Design' build' and optimize CI/CD pipelines to automate the build' test' and deployment lifecycle of Java/Spring Boot applications - Oversee and manage deployments to production' ensuring stability and rollback readiness - Monitor system and application performance using Prometheus' Grafana' and other observability tools' proactively addressing issues before they impact users - Support and maintain containerized environments (Docker' Kubernetes' Helm) for Java/Spring Boot microservices - Collaborate closely with development teams to align deployment processes with software design and integration needs - Investigate and troubleshoot runtime or deployment issues across development' staging' and production environments What you bring: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science' Engineering' or equivalent experience - Proven experience deploying and maintaining Java/Spring Boot applications in CI/CD environments - Familiarity with Java/Spring Boot development - Hands-on experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins' GitHub Actions' GitLab CI/CD' or similar - Experience working with Docker' Kubernetes' and Helm - Solid knowledge of Linux systems and Unix shell scripting - Strong attention to detail and commitment to deployment reliability and production stability Excellent communication skills in English and a collaborative' problem-solving mindset Location Requirement: - We do not offer a fully remote work policy - Candidates should be prepared to relocate to Canton Ticino (Switzerland)or Italian Border Towns (such as Como' Varese' etc.) - Work-from-home days may be possible according to the Client's policy Are you looking for an exciting and challenging job in a dynamic environment?
