Sourcing Specialist Dry Dock

OverviewBASIC PURPOSE: Execute strategic sourcing projects for the assigned category to take advantage of savings opportunities across the Company and to support order processing in a timely manner. This position is based in the Marghera office in the yard - in March/April 2026 move to the yard in Monfalcone. Travel time to Dry Docks will be approx. 30% of the yearly working time. Position ResponsibilitiesWork with customer groups to establish specifications for the assigned category. Perform market analysis, benchmark analysis and spend analysis for assigned category projects. Obtain quotes from suppliers and complete a comparative analysis. Assist Managers in developing and executing assigned sourcing strategy. Assist in the supplier selection and negotiation process. Establish savings tracking methodology, perform savings tracking, and report realized savings on a continual basis. Monitor supplier performance and manage supplier relationships for key suppliers across multiple business divisions. Assist in placing contracts for strategic purchases and identify opportunities for large spot buys when no existing contracts exist. Perform other job-related functions as assigned including Dry Dock Order reports. Availability to travel and to provide onsite attendance/support during Dry Docks. Knowledge and ExperienceEducation: Bachelor\'s degree in Business or related field of study; or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience: 2-4 years of strategic sourcing experience or procurement consulting experience. Knowledge & Skills: Demonstrated success of leading project teams to achieving quantifiable savings by applying sourcing methods. Highly self-motivated with the ability to drive change in a global decentralized organization with minimal supervision. Strong project management skills and results oriented. Excellent interpersonal skills and oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated success in gathering data, conducting analyses, and generating high quality outputs. Strong negotiation management experience. Knowledge of eProcurement and eCatalog management systems is a plus. First hand working knowledge of strategic sourcing methodology is essential. Technical knowledge and expertise in certain commodity areas is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Ariba Sourcing, eRFX and eAuction experience preferred.
