About us Flutter, the world’s largest online sports betting and iGaming group listed on the London and New York stock exchanges, is home to the Southern Europe & Africa (SEA) region, featuring iconic brands like Sisal and PokerStars, a globally loved brand that embodies innovation and ambition, with significant growth potential in a dynamic market.What you’ll doJoin the team of Technology - Enterprise Technology & Transformation and in particular the area Cross Services Platform reporting directly to Integration Cross Platform Architecture Associate Manager.You will have the opportunity to be involved in analysis, design and development of solutions according to the requests from external business units or other ICT groups; you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and enthusiastic team for domestic and international projects for all the brands managed by Flutter SEA – Southern Europe & Africa assets.Collaborating with the Architecture team to implement technical frameworks and guidelines, ensuring business flows are correctly applied across different game types and jurisdictions during the delivery phase.Maintaining and improving the existing codebase, ensuring code quality, performance, and scalability.Contributing to the stability of applications by supporting the monitoring and maintenance of production environments.Responding promptly to alerts, identifying root causes, and resolving issues to minimize operational impact.What you’ll bringA degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.At least 3 / 4 years of experience as a Software Engineer.Experience with Integration Technologies, hands‑on experience or familiarity with integration platforms and tools.A solid understanding of software architecture principles, particularly in Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture (EDA), and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).Proficiency in Java 17 / 21 and hands‑on experience with frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring JDBC.Experience working with message brokers such as Apache ActiveMQ.You are comfortable building and deploying containers using Docker and Kubernetes (K8s).Good working knowledge of CI / CD tools and practices.Previous experience in Apache Kafka.Basic knowledge of service management tools (ServiceNow), DBMS (Oracle, MySQL) and / or not‑relational DB (MongoDB).Strong analytical thinking and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.Attention to details, a meticulous approach to ensuring data accuracy and the smooth operation of integrations.Proactive and Problem‑Solving Mindset, a willingness to take initiative, identify potential issues, and work towards solutions.Adaptability and Learning Agility, the capacity to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to evolving integration needs.A Collaborative Spirit, a team-oriented approach and a willingness to contribute to a positive and productive work environment.Expertise in secure code development.Fluency in both English and Italian, with good written and verbal communication skills.Why choose usPermanent contract with Hybrid Work.Meal Allowance.Supplemental Health Insurance.The option to join our company share saving scheme.Choose us also forAn inclusive work environment and participation in all our initiatives focused on Diversity & Inclusion.Well‑Being Support: online meditation courses, medical online service and counselling with the help of certified psychologists and coaches.Learning and Development: access a platform full of training courses, join workshops, conferences.
