Cost Engineer for Electronic Components (Active/Passive components) (m/f/d) Join the team at Alpitronic as a Cost Engineer, focusing on active and passive electronic components. Your Responsibilities Create and manage detailed cost models including materials, labor, equipment, and overhead, providing accurate cost estimates for new designs and engineering changes. Analyze cost data to identify key drivers and trends, and formulate strategies for cost reduction. Collaborate with procurement to negotiate favorable supplier terms and assess competitive quotes. Lead value engineering workshops to foster innovative and cost-effective design alternatives. Mentor and train teams on cost modeling techniques, cultivating a culture of cost awareness. Your Qualifications & Skills Degree in Electronic Engineering or a related field. Advanced English language skills. 3–5 years of product development experience with a focus on cost and value engineering, particularly in active and passive components. Proficiency in deploying cost engineering strategies and influencing cross‑functional teams. Strong analytical and quantitative problem‑solving skills. Proficiency in project management methods.
