Freelance Translator

In order to meet the translation needs of our international clients, we are currently looking to expand our database of freelance linguists who translates:From Simplified Chinese into Italian in Technical:AutomotiveUser Manual/UO/UXJob DescriptionIn this job, you will collaborate with our Project Managers to work and complete translation and MTPE projects for the above-mentioned subject matters.Qualifications, Skills & Experience:- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Simplified Chinese and native level proficiency in Italian.- Specialized in Simplified Chinese into Italian translation, MTPE.- Able to use CAT tools.- MUST having experience in MTPE service.- Acute attention to detail, spelling and grammar.- Ability to maintain professionalism in all situations, especially under tight deadlines.Candidates MUST also have any ONE of the following:- A Degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies or an equivalent degree that includes significant translation training, from a recognized institution of higher education;- 2 years of translation experience and a college degree;- 5 years of translation experience and no college degree; or- A certificate of competence in translation awarded by an appropriate government body.IMPORTANT NOTE:- Applicants will be asked to sign a confidentiality agreement and complete a Translation test, a proofreading test respectively, and will not be paid.- In case this skillset matches your profile, please apply directly in this job post with a latest CV attached.In your CV, please include below:a) your relevant Translation and MTPE experience for abovementioned fields; b) your proposed best rate for Translation and hourly rate for MTPE in USD.c) your weekly volume for us.
