OverviewThe mission of a Testing Engineer is to use engineering principles and mechanical skills to build innovative solutions to real-world material handling and conveyance challenges.ResponsibilitiesAchieve client requirements through theory, application, and use of Habasit product line.Directly involved with the function and performance of each piece of equipment delivered.Test, troubleshoot, and develop new concepts on our products and material handling solutions.Collaborate and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to fulfill project requirements.Generate reports reflecting significant test results and methodology.Provide 2D/3D design support to design engineer team for design of new test equipment and products for test/prototype applications.Database maintenance of historical documentation for testing results.Create and execute a thorough test plan and document all results in a clear and organised method which can be shared with and comprehended by all team members.Support Account Managers and Application Engineers in the selling and implementation of conveyors.Follow all safety procedures and policies while on production floor.Exhibit teamwork and self-management.QualificationsDegree in Mechanical Engineering or similar fieldProficient with using measuring devices, hand tools, and reading mechanical drawings1+ years of Engineering experience in product testing or automation/industrial equipment productionFamiliarity with all forms of conveyor line applicationsPrevious experience working with lean manufacturing concepts or principlesKnowledge of CAD 2D/3D and InventorWhat we offerStrong link to Habasit Core Values paired with resilience and results-orientationDeep knowledge (Deep understanding of process and the products)Customer insight (Entrepreneurial attitude, curious with a keen market sense and the ability to translate customer needs into innovative solutions)Service orientation (Natural networker and think in game changing solutions)Innovation (Hands-on, results oriented, resilient, able to think out of the box and take unconventional paths to achieve goals)#J-18808-Ljbffr
