This is a rare opportunity to become a founding and important member of a growing, well‑funded company. You'll collaborate with Italy's most premium and regarded restaurants. As a member of the regional sales team, you will report to the Sales Lead and your role will focus on developing new relationships with restaurants and stores.What You'll Be DoingMap, prospect, pitch and close new restaurants across your region in an organized fashion, becoming an area‑level expert including knowing the up‑and‑coming restaurants and which restaurants customers crave mostSupport partners in joining Deliveroo, providing the best experience to themCommunicate (physical visits, email, calls, or social media) with restaurants to demonstrate Deliveroo technologyHelp restaurant owners/managers overcome any barriers or hesitationsAttend restaurant and food meet‑upsRequirementsYou must be comfortable with targeting new business and have sales experienceThe job requires confidence or experience dealing with partners/customers, whether it be face‑to‑face, through phone or emailExperience in demonstrating product and industry knowledge to clientsYou will need to be comfortable with negotiationsKnowledge of the restaurant industry is a significant plusYou will need to be tenaciousWorkplace & BenefitsAt Deliveroo we know that people are the heart of the business and we prioritise their welfare.
