The Medical Science Liaison is a highly knowledgeable scientific person who is primarily responsible for answering the scientific and clinical needs of Scientific Experts (SE) and Clinical Experts (CE). He/She will be placed in a dynamic and motivating environment dedicated to the launch of new products and in a path of professional career. The Medical Science Liaison is a field‑based role. Key Responsibilities Identification of SEs/CEs and development of relationship with them Provide deep and advanced disease state and product expertise to SE/CE Engage in continuous learning within their therapy area, through literature search, participation in scientific congresses etc. Communication of scientific intelligence and clinical insights Respond to unsolicited request, also at congresses Participation in consultant meetings Drive digital innovation in engaging customers Basic Qualifications Master or PhD is required English proficiency (written and oral): C1 Additional Skills/Preferences Passion for science, results, and high standards Great and demonstrable learning agility Business acumen (starting from scientific information) Proactive – takes independent action and responds quickly Enthusiasm for a variety of digital technologies with the ability to assimilate complex information and systems Confidence and willingness Ask questions, understand, and translate into suggestions/ new solutions Demonstrable ability to operate in a compliant way Brilliant and demonstrable presentation skills Ability to effectively communicate scientific data into meaningful, clear, and compliant content Ability to manage a complex environment and prioritize different projects at the same time Previous experience in Diabetes/Obesity Therapeutic Area is a plus Additional Information Territory: Lombardia e Trentino Alto Adige Requested place of living: Milan Travel Percentage >75% Lilly is dedicated to helping individuals with disabilities to actively engage in the workforce, ensuring equal opportunities when vying for positions.
