Role DescriptionThe electromechanical maintenance technician performs electrical (including PLC-assisted) and mechanical maintenance operations and interventions. This person will be part of the maintenance team and will be responsible for the routine extraordinary and preventative maintenance of industrial systems with a particular focus on electronics. He will collaborate with the team to ensure the proper functioning of production lines responding promptly in the event of faults and applying tools for problem definition (5Ws) analysis (Ishikawa or the 5 Whys) and resolution.Upon completion of the intervention they will prepare a technical report using the companys maintenance software.Main ResponsibilitiesPerform routine electrical and electromechanical maintenance on industrial systems and machineryParticipate in extraordinary maintenance activitiesDiagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults including using PLCsPerform troubleshooting and restore production lines to working orderPerform tests and checks to ensure repaired equipment is functioning properlyCollaborates with any external contractorsCollaborates with the team to implement improvement solutionsCompiles technical documentation relating to the work performedEnsures compliance with safety regulationsAnalyzes faults with a view to problem resolution and preventionMonitors the management of work on the companys CMMS IT systemAvailability to work shifts and / or on callAdherence to and compliance with safety regulationsOrganizational skills and good time managementAbility to analyze and methodically manage problemsAble to interact at all levels with internal and external stakeholdersRequirementsTechnical diploma (preferably electrical electronic or mechatronic)Previous experience as an electromechanical maintenance technician in industrial settingsExcellent knowledge of industrial electrical systemsPLC diagnostics skills (Siemens Allen Bradley or equivalent)Knowledge and good use of computer packages (Office)Good knowledge of EnglishAbility to read electrical diagrams and technical drawingsStrong problem-solving skills and operational autonomyAbility to continuously learn and pursue professional growthWho We AreWe Dont Just Build The World We Build Innovative Technology Too.Joining the Stanley Black & Decker team means working in an innovative tech-driven and highly collaborative team environment supported by over 58000 professionals in 60 countries across the globe.
