Campari Group is today the sixth-largest player worldwide in the premium spirits industry.Role PurposeAs Global Category Buyer – Marketing & Events, you will play a key role in supporting sourcing and procurement activities for the Global Events category, contributing to the overall Marketing spend. Working closely with the Global Marketing & Media Procurement Director, you will ensure efficient, effective, and continuous supply of goods and services at competitive cost, quality, and lead time. This role is an opportunity to grow your expertise in a dynamic, global environment while collaborating with diverse teams and suppliers.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy Support: Conduct market research, supplier benchmarking, and spend analysis to inform category strategy.Category Management: Track category spend, monitor supplier performance, and prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders.Sourcing & Procurement: Execute RFx processes (RFI, RFQ, RFP), consolidate business requirements, and support negotiations and value-creation initiatives.Supplier Management: Assist with onboarding, qualification, and compliance checks; monitor performance and resolve operational issues collaboratively.Operational Procurement: Manage purchase orders, ensure accurate application of procurement systems (SAP, Coupa), and maintain compliance with policies.Reporting & KPIs: Support reporting on availability, profitability, sustainability, and operational excellence.Capabilities & RequirementsBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Business, Economics, Engineering, or related fields.4–5 years of professional experience in Marketing, including supplier and contract management (events, agencies, creative services).Procurement experience is a plus but not mandatory.Experience in multinational or matrix organizations is valued.Fluent English required; additional languages (French, Italian, Spanish) are a plus.Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data effectively.Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and presentations.Understanding of marketing activities (BTL/ATL, events, activations, creative processes).Ability to build collaborative relationships across all levels and navigate ambiguity in a fast‑paced environment.Our commitment to Diversity & InclusionAt Campari Group we believe in building more value together, thus we see diversity in all forms as a source of enrichment.
