Cybersecurity Governance Specialist

Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and internal vulnerability assessments.
- Develop and implement security awareness and training programs.
- Monitor compliance with security policies and standards.
- Investigate and address security incidents.
- Maintain and update security documentation.
- Stay updated on security threats and trends.
- Collaborate with IT, Legal, and Risk Management teams.
- Audit and assess security controls.
- Report on security risks and compliance issues.
- Evaluate new implementations/products for security.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 3-5 years of experience in security governance or related field.
- Strong understanding of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, COBIT).
- Experience with risk assessments and mitigation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in teams.
- Proficiency in English (verbal and written).
Desired Skills:
- Experience with security compliance audits.
- Knowledge of security regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Experience with security incident response.
- Experience with security awareness and training.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Discretion and conscientiousness.
