Vacancy: Consulting Engineer/High Touch EngineerLocation: Rome (Hybrid on-site + remote)Salary: €260-€280Duration: 1 YearOur client is a worldwide leader in innovative IT and networking technologies and they are currently looking for a Consulting Engineer/High Touch Engineer to join their team. Applications are welcome from candidates in the UK who are eligible and already have the necessary documentation in placeResponsibilities for the Consulting Engineer/High Touch Engineer role include:Works extensively with customers along with appropriate internal and external resources (e.g. Cisco account teams, partners) on the strategy/deployment/optimisation of Cisco services and solutionsTakes leadership role in execution of delivery projectsImproves solutions and methods developed in the field for use to the wider practice (knowledge sharing)Creates, reviews and approves project deliverables e.g. Design recommendations, High LevelDesign, Low Level Design, Implementation/Change Management PlansBuilds and/or leverage test environments as required to resolve highly complex problems and compatibility issuesLeverages software skills and tools to configure, deploy and/or troubleshoot Cisco products and solutions. Contributes to the development of digital intellectual capital (e.g. scripts, digital signatures).Acts as a focal point for problem resolution for assigned customer engagements. Assures proper and quick resolution of complex customer problems across an appropriate range of technologies.Candidates applying for the Consulting Engineer/High Touch Engineer role will need:Typically requires BSc Computer Science or equivalent plus 5-8 years of relevant work experience.
