Working in close partnership with clients, they design and implement tailored solutions that enhance operational efficiency while reducing environmental impact.Main DutiesAs a Sales Engineer – Power Plant Solutions, you will combine technical expertise with project management responsibility, coordinating engineered solutions and on-site services for power plants, refineries, oil & gas facilities, and chemical plants. Acting as a trusted technical consultant within your assigned territory, you will collaborate closely with Sales Managers to develop and grow both existing and new projects. Reporting to the European Sales Manager, you will be responsible for solution development, project delivery, and technician coordination to ensure successful implementation and long-term customer satisfaction.The RoleAct as a technical consultant for clients within power generation, refining, oil & gas, and chemical industriesManage and develop existing accounts while actively pursuing new business opportunities in ItalyBuild strong client relationships by understanding technical, operational, and project-specific requirementsCollaborate with Sales Managers to develop sales strategies, technical proposals, and client presentationsWork closely with engineering and R&D teams to design compliant, industry-standard solutionsPrepare detailed technical proposals, including scope of work, timelines, and cost estimatesSupport pricing strategies and participate in contract negotiations to meet client and business objectivesOversee project execution from proposal stage through installation and post-project supportCoordinate on-site technician deployment, ensuring quality standards, safety compliance, and timely deliveryAct as the main point of contact for clients and field technicians, ensuring clear communication and issue resolutionProvide ongoing technical support and optimization to maximize system performance and customer satisfactionLiaise between customers and internal technical teams to address challenges and recommend improvementsConduct follow-up visits to ensure solutions meet client expectations and performance targetsMonitor industry trends, market developments, and regulatory requirementsSupport Sales Directors in identifying new market opportunities and expansion strategiesContribute to go-to-market initiatives to strengthen competitive positioning and drive business growthThe CandidateFluent in Italian and English (written and spoken); French language skills are an advantageBachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical disciplineProven experience in sales engineering, technical consulting, or project management, ideally within power generation or heavy industryStrong technical knowledge of power generation systems, combined cycle gas turbines, heat recovery steam generators, refining, or chemical processesExperience managing full project lifecycles, including technician coordination, on-site support, and schedule adherenceExcellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersStrong cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to lead on-site technical teamsWillingness to travel within the assigned European territory, with occasional overseas travels.Salary: €65 000 – €80 000 gross salary per year + Bonus#J-18808-Ljbffr
