The Dexcom Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) systems are aimed at people with type 1 or type 2 diabetes who need to monitor their blood sugar levels. Our Dexcom CGM system consists of a sensor, inserted under the skin to measure the level of glucose in the interstitial fluid (fluid in the tissue), eliminating the need for fingersticks. Our Dexcom CGM Systems have customizable alerts to warn users of dangerous glucose levels, even while they are asleep. This position is responsible for defining and delivering the professional and patient education marketing strategy for the Dexcom Products in Italy region. Marketing specialist – Professional & Patient Education

will champion education to healthcare professionals & patients as a key driver of our growth strategy to drive CGM (continuous glucose monitoring) adoption across the diabetes spectrum. You will work collaboratively with the regional and country marketing teams, medical affairs, clinical, regulatory, legal and compliance teams to develop compelling education content and programmes. You are a strategic thinker and dedicated achiever who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You are an effective communicator that can interpret complex scientific information accurately and communicate results clearly to a variety of clinical and non-clinical stakeholders. You are also a strong leader and collaborator that builds and leverages cross-functional relationships to bring together ideas and share best practices. Your Responsibilities: Develop regional professional education strategy to support HCPs in primary and eventually secondary care. Develop and deliver an implementation plan for education in the region to support HCPs & drive education as a point of differentiation to accelerate our growth. Lead development and implement programs and projects to support the marketing, advocacy, and education of CGM as standard of care throughout Italy region for all people living with diabetes (e.g., education platforms, webinars, accredited training programmes). Develop and deliver the patient education and onboarding strategy & plan for the region, supporting markets with the appropriate tools and platform to support implementation. Lead project management of Professional and patient education programs. Conduct market research, develop, and analyse professional and patient education marketing metrics to drive strategy, measure effectiveness and ROI. Develop and adapt education programs to customer needs and business priorities including commercial advisory boards, content development, and HCP training. Provide marketing and education resources to support sales teams' educational efforts in the field (product training, clinical studies/clinical selling and advocacy, etc.) to support the growth of CGM as standard of care in type 1 and type 2 diabetes. Co-lead regional commercial advisory boards to leverage KOL insight and advice to drive professional education and commercial goals. Identify innovative marketing & educational opportunities to develop initiatives to increase CGM awareness and drive CGM adoption within educational settings that train/educate HCPs. Create and manage the annual budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve program goals. Your Profile: You have a degree in Life Sciences. We welcome candidates that are MD, Registered Dietitian (RD), Registered Nurse (RN), Pharmacist (PharmD), Nurse Practitioner (NP) or other relevant clinical degree required. CDCES and Post Graduate Certificate in Education for Healthcare Professionals recommended. You have a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in professional education / marketing. You have experience directly related to the use of diabetes technology, including CGM and its use with adults & pediatrics with diabetes and clinicians as a diabetes management tool strongly desired. You have strong written and verbal communication skills required (both patient-facing and HCP communication). You are an expert in developing and executing marketing programs to support clinical education, engaging HCPs through multi-channels and education platforms to drive brand awareness and engagement in educational resources. You are an expert in developing educational content (presentations, digital assets, accredited content) to convey key messages with the intended audience. You have experience in developing and running commercial advisory boards with KOLs. You have robust group presentation skills to both clinicians and people with diabetes. You are team-focused and a strong collaborator to work with a highly functioning marketing team and matrix organization, yet able to work independently and use critical thinking skills to make independent decisions. You are capable of managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. You have an outgoing personality, comfortable engaging with multiple audiences in both professional and social settings. Medical device or pharma experience required. Italian and English fluent, other languages preferred. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required. Travel Required: 0 – 25 %
