For more information: DescriptionWe are looking for a Freelance Automotive CAD Senior Designer / Team Leader to join our team and support an important customer. The candidate should have at least 10 years of professional experience, including prior experience with an automotive OEM or Tier 1 supplier in component and system development, with a proven track record of successfully meeting responsibilities.Specifically, it is mandatory to have relevant technical experience in at least one of these four specific areas:Upperbody and ClosuresExternal TrimsInteriorsMechatronicsKey ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and manage the technical activities of an international cross‑functional team to secure the components and systems official release.Support the building of the CAD physical models of the vehicle and its sub‑systems.Mature the CAD models, adjusting architecture, feasibility, materials and thicknesses based on validation feedback.Guarantee the correct release of the CAD data into the customer Teamcenter.Provide technical documentation & drawings and participate in reviews of designed systems.Define and achieve the technical scope for each system, ensuring it meets legal requirements and project specification targets.Drive the Engineering Change Management process.Support physical build phases and resolve engineering and quality issues.Manage suppliers with cross‑functional teams of Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, Manufacturing and other OEM business units.Understand design, weight, cost and quality constraints of materials and manufacturing processes.Execute and present project reports to management and customers.Diversity & InclusionAt SEGULA Technologies, diversity, equity and inclusion are at the core of our human resources policy.
