Our innovative solutions help meet the growing demand for electricity while promoting sustainable development. We are looking for a Sales Manager for North West Italy to join our team in Italy. This role will enable you to work across a multidisciplinary environment, covering research and development, production, and customer supply. Responsibilities Identify and close sales opportunities in accordance with the company’s overall strategic plans and financial objectives in the region. Develop and maintain relationships with solar distribution channel partners, strategic accounts, EPCs, installers and engineering firms. Actively pursue direct sales leads with installers, distributors, investors, and utility companies. Assist with the forecast of revenue on a regular basis and review sales results to ensure that established targets are being met; take corrective action where required. Nurture relationships with leading PV project developers to ensure that SolarEdge remains the supplier of choice for power‑conversion electronics. Assist product management teams in defining and improving the product portfolio for the Italian market by gathering customer feedback and monitoring industry trends. Provide input regarding marketing and product‑positioning strategies specific to the Italian market. Execute a brand and messaging strategy and act as brand ambassador. Liaise with the Italian team to ensure that sales targets are defined and met. Qualifications BA/BS in a related technical discipline (Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc.). Minimum 3 years of experience in PV industry in similar roles for manufacturers or distributors. 5+ years of technical sales experience, with a proven record of closing large deals. Strong technical aptitude and the ability to convey advanced product benefits in easy‑to‑grasp terms. Track record of identifying, negotiating/converting, and closing large dollar deals. Capability to identify new accounts while maintaining existing relationships. Demonstrated success operating effectively in an entrepreneurial, fast‑paced, complex, rapid‑growth environment. Strong focus on customer service. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Experience with an international organization is preferred. Fluent in Italian, with acceptable proficiency in English (writing, speaking, listening). Go‑getter with a can‑do, hands‑on attitude. Team player.
