Senior Hydraulic Engineer (Milan or Rome)Conduct hydraulic studies, primarily for dams and hydropower plants, including analyses of spillway, intake, and outlet capacities, transient flow behavior, and sediment management strategies;Perform hydraulic design calculations to ensure compliance with relevant technical standards and project specifications;Prepare tender documents for engineering services and construction works related to hydraulic and hydroelectric projects, both in domestic and international contexts;Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including engineering and modeling experts, to deliver high-quality project outputs;Undertake short- to medium-term field assignments as needed.RequirementsMaster’s degree in Civil or Hydraulic Engineering (PhD is an asset);Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in hydraulic engineering, with a solid track record on both domestic and international dam and hydropower projects;Demonstrated experience in the design, planning, and construction supervision of dams;Strong knowledge of international standards and guidelines for hydraulic design (e.g., ICOLD, USBR), and familiarity with advanced tools and methodologies used in dam and hydropower engineering;Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Italian and English; proficiency in French is considered an asset;About GrunerWith passion and expertise, we develop sustainable solutions for challenging construction projects in the fields of buildings, infrastructure and energy.
