About the role We are seeking a motivated Full-Stack Developer (mid to senior levels) with a strong focus on integrations to build and maintain robust, secure connections between Medicilio’s platform and healthcare structures, especially within the Italian public healthcare ecosystem. Collaborate on technical discovery with partner IT teams to assess integration feasibility, mapping, and data flows. Build secure, resilient data pipelines for clinical and operational data exchange, including scheduling, orders, results, imaging metadata, and patient demographics. Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and best practices (e.g., GDPR, Italian health data norms, ISO 9001/27001 practices, auditability, data minimization). Define and enforce authentication and authorization patterns (OAuth2/OIDC, service accounts, mTLS, JWT). Contribute to and lead technical planning meetings for new features and integration roadmaps. Contribute to core features and microservices in our systems constantly evolving remote patient monitoring. Propose and implement enhancements to our codebase, integration frameworks, and developer workflows. Maintain code quality and participate in peer reviews; produce clear technical documentation and data mapping specs. Skills – Must Haves Demonstrated experience building and operating integrations in healthcare environments or other compliance‑heavy and complex environments. Strong understanding of security for healthcare data: encryption in transit/at rest, secure API design, token‑based auth, least‑privilege access, logging/auditing. Ability to quickly learn new standards, vendor specs, and regional public health requirements. Excellent communication skills with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders; comfortable interfacing with partner IT teams and public institutions. Positive attitude toward feedback, collaboration, and cross‑functional work. B+ level proficiency in Italian. Skills – Should Haves 3+ years of experience in an engineering role. Experience with Google Cloud (GCP) security and networking (VPCs, private service connect, workload identity), or any major cloud provider. Familiarity with Google OR-Tools for optimization scenarios. Background in CI/CD and DevOps (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform) and automated compliance checks. Understanding of data protection impact assessments (DPIA), GDPR principles, and vendor risk assessments. Our Values Trust We've got each other's backs. We're straight shooters who keep our word and aren't afraid to speak up when something's off. When we trust each other, we can move fast and solve problems without all the BS. Care We actually care. No fake corporate niceness but real respect and looking out for one another. We celebrate the wins, help when things get tough, and make sure it's cool to say "I need help" without judgment as much as it's okay to say "I failed and learned...". Curiosity We stay curious. We're always open to hearing how others see things, ready to teach what we know and learn what we don't. Questions keep us moving, exploring, and discovering new ways to think about problems. Curiosity is what keeps us from getting stuck. Expansion We expand our horizons. We aim higher with thoughtful ambition, knowing when to push and when to take a breath. Big challenges don't scare us, and neither do spectacular failures. Both will be our teachers. It's how we keep growing steadily while building something that lasts. Joy We find joy in the journey. We do meaningful work and there is a lot of space to enjoy what we are doing. We value moments of being a child again, moments of connection and laughing We practice gratitude. High morale fuels motivation and better outcomes. Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Medicilio by 2x #J-18808-Ljbffr
