If you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us JOB DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES: Project management and cross functional coordination Lead the NPI Execution team to provide functional deliverables supporting achievement of project goals. This includes project planning, schedule updating and proactively identifying risks and managing issues. Manage work commitments, ensuring required deliverables are completed on time. Provide high quality, concise management reporting of status, risks & issues, ensure completeness and accuracy of information reporting related to the Supply Chain function. Support metrics reporting and complete all deliverables in a timely manner. Communicate extensively throughout the supply chain to ensure continuous alignment of products and strategies during the NPI development cycle. Drive cross-functional teams to optimize the supply chain for specific strategic reasons, while accounting for risks, changes in schedule or demand. Sourcing strategy and supply chain risk mitigation Onboard suppliers to support new technologies and New Product Introductions (NPI). Drive dual sourcing activities to mitigate supply risk. Architect supply chains that deliver products that meet or exceed expectations (quality, delivery, value) based on inputs from Business Units, Commodity Managers, Quality and Engineering. NPI sourcing strategy development, management and execution Cost management and DFx / SDR Product material cost management; Analyze BOM cost to identify cost reduction opportunities through design, content reduction/should cost and commercial means; track and ensure timely implementation of such opportunities. Facilitate early engagement between supplier and Lumentum design team to drive manufacturability, repeatability cost and lead time improvements. Planning and production
