OverviewAmazon Web Services provides a highly reliable, scalable, low‑cost infrastructure platform in the cloud that powers hundreds of thousands of businesses in 190 countries. We are seeking an experienced Design Verification Engineer to build the next generation of our cloud server platforms. The role is part of the Cloud‑Scale Machine Learning Acceleration team, where you will design and validate machine‑learning hardware in our data centers.Key ResponsibilitiesVerify and validate that hardware and software solutions achieve their desired functionality.Develop and execute multi‑faced verification and validation plans.Measure the team’s progress toward ambitious customer metrics.About the teamOur team embraces a culture of inclusion, with ten employee‑led affinity groups and global learning experiences such as CORE and AmazeCon. Mentorship and career growth are central values; projects are selected to help team members become well‑rounded professionals and take on more complex tasks.Basic QualificationsBS Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.3+ years of design verification experience using System Verilog and UVM.3+ years of testbench development experience, including stimulus, checkers, assertions, and coverage.Preferred QualificationsExperience verifying multiple levels of logic, from IP blocks to full subsystem testing.Experience with multiple verification platforms.Experience with C/C++ and object‑oriented programming.Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Perl.Legal and EqualityAmazon is an equal‑opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.
