CAD Wiring Harness Specialist

For important customers in the Automotive Branch, we are seeking a CAD Wiring Harness Specialist with experience in the Automotive area.

In the area of Wiring Harness, main tasks and responsibilities typically include:

• Using CAD systems for wiring design with specific tools.
• Studying layout and packaging for electrical wiring.
• Studying fastening systems for wiring installation (clips, channels, cable guides, gaskets, etc.).
• Developing routing and installation of cables on vehicles and engines, using CAD CATIA with WIRING application.
• Development of 3D models and possibly 2D layouts. Desired knowledge of applications for 2D drawing of electrical diagrams.
• Analyzing geometric and installation problems of components such as cables and studying appropriate solutions, analyzing the assembly process during vehicle assembly.
• Experience in design and process for wiring development.
• Collecting platform information (Program Planning/Trim level grid/Cost and weight Target).
• Working closely with Engineering Specialist Project Chief to schedule all activities.
• Determining the best solution in terms of costs/quality in accordance with Product Manufacturing.

• Knowledge of automotive electrics and related integration issues.
• Knowledge of Excel program.
• CAD competence in Wiring Harness activities in 2D/3D environment (CATIA - PRO_E - Capital Harness).

• Ability to work in a team and organize complex tasks.
• Focus on technical details.
• Ability to work in multi-cultural teams.
• Good problem-solving capability.
• Fluent in Italian and English; German (even basic) is appreciated but not mandatory.

• Technical or professional diploma in electrical/electrotechnical/IT or mechanical environment.
