If you share our determination to drive the transition to a low-carbon future, then this could be the job for you. We are currently seeking a Subcontracting Engineer, reporting directly to Proposal and Subcontracting Section Head to join the team based in Rome.

About The Role:

You will work inside the Engineering Proposals & Subcontract Coordination Section, which is in charge of estimation of Engineering Service during tender proposal, managing Engineering Subcontract and coordination with the Engineering Service Supplier.

Key interactions of the Engineering Subcontracting Engineer are:

  • Internally, with Proposal Dept., Estimating Dept., Planning Dept. and all Engineering Disciplines;
  • Externally with Engineering Companies, including other Operating Centers;

Your main missions and responsibilities will be to:

  • Estimate Engineering Services during the bid phases;
  • Support the Head of the Engineering Department in the definition of Subcontracting Plan;
  • Support the Engineering Subcontract Section Head in the Companies Qualification Process;
  • Manage preparation of Engineering Subcontract Requisition for Inquiry;
  • Manage the issue of Technical/Commercial Tabulation;
  • Prepare and issue Negotiation Report for Inquiry;
  • Monitor the Subcontracting Execution;
  • Manage Change Orders.

  • Local contract only will be considered;
  • Qualifications: Master's degree in engineering is preferable, High School Diploma in Technical Disciplines is required;
  • Languages: fluent in English and Italian;

Main Skills:

  • Attitude to perform the work in a team, in an international and multi-cultural environment;
  • Capability to complete tasks on time with the required Company quality level;
  • Proactive, committed and solution/results driven;
  • Autonomous and Organizational Skills/Time Management;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an Oil & Gas international company is required;
  • Available to travel in Italy and abroad for short periods;
  • Strong MS Office skills (great command of Excel);
