Company Overview:A specialised industrial company, with a long history since 1959, who assist in protecting the environment and purifying water. Their water filtering technology removes materials such as Iron Oxyhydroxide, Arsenic, Phosphates, Vanadium, Antimony, Selenium, Molybdenum and Uranium, Lead, Zinc, Copper, Chromium as well as Nickel.

Role Overview:As an International Export Sales Manager you will operate on the world stage, identifying and appointing distributors, managing overall sales performance, contract negotiations and arranging training where appropriate. Primarily, you will generate new business and promote the company in new and established markets.

Responsibilities:Generating and maintaining business across the GlobeAssisting the Managing Director to manager to oversee the Italian market.Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans along with organising training and seminars in coordination with the Managing Director.Analysing distributor information and market trends to develop and improve sales strategies.Set up and manage an international sales network of distributors, in key markets.You will locate appropriate distributors, set up key performance indicators, maintain sales growth and review appointed distributors as necessary.Manage international trade agreements and contract negotiations as well as coordinating logistics for oversea shipments.Provide insight to management in relation to competitor analysis, customer needs and pricing.Identify new business opportunities.Overseeing customer care activities (order management, troubleshooting, payment collection)Attend trade shows and other types of exhibitions and seminars

Candidate Profile:The selected candidate will possess English language skills to a fluent level as well as the native language(s) of their residing country. The perfect candidate will also have at least a professional level of Italian language skills. *Please refer to the location section to understand the minimum expectations.Suitable candidates will have a proven track record in business development and be familiar with establishing and penetrating new markets.The ideal candidate will be self-sufficient, proactive and experienced in negotiation.Willing and able to travel internationally – Global coverage.On occasion you will need to travel to the HQ in Italy – frequency dependent on location.Able to offer flexibility and comfortable with spending an extensive amount of time away from home – overnight trips will be normal.Considers themselves to have an entrepreneurship spirit and enjoys autonomy.Has comparable industry experience, chemicals and water treatment as examples.Has experience within Technical Sales and has experience working with distributors.This role is ideal for someone who is ambitious, curious and enjoys a challenge.
