Join our dynamic team at Ametek MOCON, where innovation meets excellence. We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to support our customers across Italy from our Peschiera Borromeo office. Responsibilities: Install and Commission Equipment: Set up new equipment and provide technical training to operating personnel. Maintenance and Calibration: Fulfill all tasks according to maintenance contracts, ensuring customer equipment is well-maintained and calibrated. Repair Services: Conduct repairs both on-site at customer locations and at our facility. Customer Support: Offer competent support to customers and distributors, addressing technical issues, application queries, device handling, software, and other technical problems, both on-site and remotely via email, phone, or remote access (TeamViewer), writing offers for technical services. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation and reporting of services provided. Collaborate with Colleagues: Work closely with internal sales and distribution teams. Conduct Training: Independently implement customer training courses. Requirements: Completed training as an electrical engineering technician or a degree in electrical engineering. Proven experience in technical customer service. Proficiency with common MS Office programs and familiarity with ERP systems (AX experience is a plus). Fluent in both Italian and English; additional languages are an advantage. A diligent and proactive work ethic, strong communication skills and a desire to provide service of the highest level to our internal and external customers. A willingness to travel – predominantly Italy but occasionally other countries where required. No weekend work is required. A valid class B driver’s license. A company car is part of the package.
